Joan Edwards

Joan Edwards is the Chief Quality Assurance Officer at IRulya Therapeutics, bringing more than 30 years of Quality leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. She has served as the head of Quality in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years, along with more than 15 years of experience in medical device Quality.

Ms. Edwards began her career at Becton Dickinson and has since built extensive expertise in Quality Management Systems, GMP, GLP, GCP, regulatory submissions, supplier oversight, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. At IRulya Therapeutics, she provides strategic Quality leadership, overseeing the company’s Quality framework and supporting the advancement of its development programs in alignment with global regulatory requirements and the company’s strategic objectives.
