Edwin L. Parsley, D.O.

Edwin L. Parsley, D.O., is IRulya Therapeutic’s Acting Chief Medical Officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in pulmonary medicine and clinical drug development, much of it in pulmonary hypertension and other serious respiratory diseases. He has led Phase 2 and Phase 3 programs and has deep experience developing inhaled therapies.

Dr. Parsley has held several Chief Medical Officer and clinical leadership roles at emerging biotech companies, where he oversaw clinical trial strategy and execution, medical monitoring, safety, regulatory interactions, and data analysis. His recent work includes programs in PH-ILD, sarcoidosis-associated pulmonary hypertension (SAPH), and bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS) after lung transplant. Earlier in his career, he was Pfizer’s Pulmonary Vascular Disease Area Medical Lead and an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
